Stephanie True Peters

I thought this book was interesting and could be used in an order elementary school classroom. It talks about a student who is nominated to be captain by a coach and he isn't a very good captain. Before the championship game, the student steps down and nominates his friend to be captain. They win the championship game and that's the end. I wouldn't read this to my students because I don't know how I could incorporate a lesson around it, but I would want it to be in my library for students to read independently. I thought it was a fun read that students who are in 4th-5th grade would enjoy.… (mehr)
