For the sake of space, (and my marriage!) I limit the number of books I buy. In fact I try to sell more than I buy, but that never seems to happen. I am currently "filling in the gaps" in the authors and series and and trying not to start any new collections. The Publisher David and Charles, their Regional Railways and Inland Waterways Seeries are nearly complete. I am looking for a definitive list of D&C Canals of the Briish Isles ( the individual Waterways), so I can make sure I have them all. A bit anoraky, but there you go!

I work for London Underground, and have done so for over 25 years. I have had and interest in Railways as long as I can remember. Over the years I have focused on railway History, particularly in the London Area. Another major interest is Inland Waterways, specialising in the Midlands Canals. I live in harpenden and am married with a ten year old daughter.
