- AGS maintains its own genealogical library, with maps, manuscripts and almost 10,000 volumes of local and out-of-state reference material. It also has Ancestor Chart Files and a Surname-Area File, indexed by family names to help you make connections with others searching the same lines. Additionally, it has other non-catalogued items including the Mims and Mealing Collections, a microfiche collection, and audio tapes. The AGS Adamson Library also contains the DAR Collection of the Augusta Chapter, NSDAR.
