Beschreibung:: The Sun City Library is one of 19 locations in the Maricopa County Library District (MCLD). This 14,000 sq. ft. facility was updated, remodeled and became a ShelfLogic library in 2009. It contains over 28,000 items and 21 computers.

Each year, MCLD holds more than 6,500 free events for all ages. We run a summer reading program for more than 75,000 people, and an annual "food for fines" program that accepts non-perishable foods for local pantries in lieu of collecting overdue fines. We seek to inspire curiosity, to encourage discovery and exploration, and to help residents re-engage with their community.
