This review from "The Sleep-e Times" Spring 2003 online newsletter (scoop0901.net/Sleep-e_Times) continues: "The author puts into words things that are often difficult for narcoleptics to explain to others who do not have the condition....." "(It) is a must-read by anyone living with a narcoleptic, but can also be a boon for others, such as extended family, friends, co-workers and employers of narcoleptics, and possibly people with other sleep disorders---" The book is endorsed by narcolepsy support groups, sleep specialists and professional groups, and has been used as a a textbook by a leading professor of sleep medicine. Although the books was published in 1995, it is still the only full-length book (166 pages) devoted to narcolepsy, a neurological sleep disorder characterized primarily by excessive daytime sleepiness and cataplexy.
