I adore this deck. I've had this for years, and I use it often. Getting along with mine was effortless. Although they're a bit big for my hands, the ones I own are very well-made and have lasted years.
The art is fascinating, while one or two cards may be a bit jarring (I love Sheila Na Gig). You can pull the cards out to look at the images themselves. I'm sure that not every aspect of a Goddess's symbology is shown on the card, but I understand that it would be too busy with each and every symbol. They have no problem showing women of age, color, and different body types, which is refreshing, although there are no overtly plus-size characters.
It has a wide range of cultures present, and I've learned several new things because of the booklet. Uzume, whom I did not know before owning this deck, is now a Diety I admire and cherish. Under each Goddess is a cute poem and some history or information about them. Next is what the card teaches you, followed by a ritual suggestion that is unique to this set. I would recommend this to everyone open to using it. ( )

Stunning cards that I often use for meditation purposes as well as readings. I love Hrana Janto's work and this deck is no exception. Recommended for all goddess lovers, even if only for the gorgeous art. ( )

I enjoy this deck, though I find it's quite limiting personally especially when compared with some other oracles, like the Froud Faery oracle.

The artwork is beautiful and interpretive, and the information on each goddess interesting - though not always strictly accurate. The fierceness of Baba Yaga for example, has been reduced to a safer interpretation as 'wild woman.' Little mention is made of her terrifying persona, or her penchant for eating babies and small children. On the other hand, the energy of deities like Nu Kua and Oya are captured well.

All in all it depends on what you're wanting out of a deck. Do you want a deck that predicts your future as well as helping you out in the present? This might not be it. This oracle deck is better suited for people willing to meditate and journey, in order to work on themselves in the now. This is more of a pathworking book for those who wish to contact the goddess energy within themselves in order to heal from whatever they feel they need to.

I find the number of cards (there's less than 45 from memory) to be limiting, and some of the cards are too 'samey', in terms of meaning, interpretation and the lessons learnt.

It is however still well written, with interesting spreads offered, and artwork to lose yourself in. It's a good deck for a 'girl's night out' (or in) and has a wonderful feminine energy to it.

If only there was a 'god oracle' companion deck to accompany it. ( )

A very lovely deck and book set. Many will be familiar with Hrana Janto's art -- it has often graced the covers of PanGaia or SageWoman, and she has had a number of calendars featuring her images. I enjoy Marashinsky's writing and her attitude about spirituality. This deck is wonderful for divination and ritual use. ( )
