It's Froggy's first sleepover and he is going to his friend Max's house. There Froggy is pushed a bit to a routine that makes him uncomfortable but doesn't want to look childish in front of his friend, he agrees to not brushing his teeth or going to bed and telling scary stories. However this drives Froggy to suggest they switch to his house. Suddenly Max wishes to go home and they flip flop throughout the whole night between houses because both boys are too nervous to sleep anywhere else. They eventually fall asleep at 9 in the morning at Max's house. This book can come in handy around a child's first sleepover to show that it's okay if there are any nerves and that everyone gets them in a new place where they haven't been before. But as long as they are with friends and under good supervision from kind parents, they will be able to get through the night. Cute little situation that honestly disturbed me. I can't say that even I would allow this madness. My kids have asked several times if they could do this, and the thing is I have never met their parents and they haven't made the attempt to contact me; about said sleepovers. As a parent I would only that my kids would go to a trusted friends house, one where I trust their parents. All in all I'm just rambling so carry on with your night. Spooky Readings. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
