4.5 stars for me! I really enjoyed this as I do all of K A's books! I Loved this story of Shy and Tabby. I'm looking forward to the next book in this Chaos series. ( )

Way too long. While I understand that Kristen Ashley has a particular style and that getting picked up by a publisher didn't change it appreciably, she definitely needed an editor to cut this down. Everything gets repeated (I really didn't need to be told what a cut was 3 separate times)and the characters use 18x the words necessary to get their points across (and often use so many words that I lost the meaning of their statements).

The story itself is fine even if the central conflict is resolved kind of early and then drags and drags on. I didn't love either Tabby or Shy, but didn't think they were horrible either. Overall, just meh. I'm glad I gave Ashley a try, if only to sate my own curiosity, but I think I'm walking away now. I don't care enough about the characters to subject myself to this type of very show-y, overly long and overly dramatic story. ( )

FINALLY, a MC story that I didn't spend the read rolling my eyes through. LOVED Shy & Tabby wasn't too shabby herself. Can't wait to get to know the rest of the Chaos crew. ( )

I loved it.
I loved the way she choose to go through the years from when Tabitha and Shy first met.
I loved the way she wrote about the changes in Tabitha as she grew up from a 16 year old to an adult woman.
I loved the way Shy's way of thinking was shown to evolve from a young man into a mature man and how that changed so much for him.
This one has a lot less humor than a lot of the other Kristen Ashley books I have read, but.......
It dealt with a lot deeper emotions too. The pain of losing a loved one, whether that is parent or spouse, etc. How that loss affects you.
This one is more of a New Adult in the way it shows the way we see life at different ages and how we deal with things change as we mature. ( )
