4.5.....Cam & Avery's story was a little better. I got tired of the bum knee/crutches....too distracting. It was still a good read. I actually wasn't loving Tess....too immature at times. ( )

Be With Me was a good story. It was so interesting to see the way the author brought Teresa and Jase together just to tear them apart over and over again. And boy did Teresa have her plate full. That girl could not catch a break! Between guy problems, friend problems, death issues, and worrying that the dreams she had for her future may no longer be a viable option, it’s a wonder the guy problems don’t get tossed aside all together.

The story took turns that were both surprising and disturbing (and a few that were quite predictable). At one point I had to keep reading just to get the disturbing images out of my head so I could sleep.

The biggest turn off to the book was the way Jase would speak to Teresa about sexual things. She seems to swoon at his words, but they come off as a bit too much. They aren’t even the slightly cleaver innuendos expected of horny teenage boys. It is just blatant and a bit too crude. Definitely not swoon worthy. On a completely different note, there was one instance where the way a character’s name is spelled changed. It pulled me out of the story, but obviously isn’t anything to freak out about.

Otherwise, the story was great. For the most part, I was really able to feel Teresa’s emotions. When she was scared I was scared. When she was nervous I was nervous. And that is the best compliment I believe a book can get, that it made you feel something. ( )

I loved book one, so I immediately jumped into Be With Me. I was hoping I would love it as much as the first, and I think I loved this one even more.

This one was a little bit darker than the first one. Both deal with really serious issues, but this one really got scary. My heart was pounding with anticipation for what would happen towards the end. Was it a little predictable? Yes! Did it take away from the suspense? Not really!

This one is a little more steamy than the first, so be prepared for that going in. The second book follows Tess, the sister of Cam. Cam and Avery are still involved within this story though, so if you love them there is a little bit of their story also thrown in. I loved Jase just as much as I loved Cam! What a great guy and his storyline had my jaw drop as I did not see that coming!

This story does deal with several triggering topics including domestic violence and suicide.

Another five stars, but I would not expect anything less from Jennifer L. Armentrout when it comes to her romance. On to the next!! ( )

Ga voor mij is het tweede deel van de geweldige Wait for me – serie. (Wacht op mij)
In dit boek gaat het om Tess (Teresa) , het zusje van, jawel, Cam! Zij kwam ook in deel 1 Wacht op mij voor.
Jase is de beste vriend van Cam. Wat leuk is, is dat je Cam en Avery ook regelmatig voor bij ziet komen.

Ik heb het boek echt in één ruk uitgelezen, het had me meteen te pakken. Wat mij opviel is dat het heel goed los van Wacht op mij te lezen is. Als je het wel gelezen hebt, maakt dat de boel wel net wat aantrekkelijker

Haha het mag duidelijk zijn ik zwijmel van Jase (en van Cam )
Waar kan ik hier een blik vol van vinden?
Ik vind het een ontzettend leuke reeks.

Honestly... Wait for You & Be with Me are two of my all time favorite reads. They gave me book hangovers and are sticking with me days later.



Be with Me is about Cam's sister Theresa and his best friend, Jase. They have experienced an instant romantic connection and while feelings grow... secrets are exposed. As they try to keep their relationship on the down low, suspense surrounds them.

This book brought so much emotion to the table. I felt for Theresa and Jase through the entire book and became consumed by each chapter. I loved the cupcakes! Each time they got together I waited to see what kind it was. I also loved the intimate parts. Each one was special because they weren't happening a million times throughout the book.



I highly recommend this book to everyone!
It is a great read with lots of depth. ( )
