Ireland is disdainful until she’s losing time and there is a dead body with witnesses saying it was the Headless Horseman.

Talk about horror coming to life! To hope for a new start and then think you might be a killer while asleep? Yikes. Some humor as Rip learns about the current century trends and inventions.
Chilling. With a twist of today’s science. ( )

In looking for headless horseman based stories lately, I've been finding some really really bad ones. This was one of the better examples, relatively. Very low bar there though. It felt like occasionally there were random moments put in that didn't have a solid enough purpose to matter. Rather uneven as far as trying to be comical or serious. ( )

Boring writing. Only read into the second chapter. ( )

This book is definitely a whole different twist on the story of Crane. It's well-thought out. It's creatvie. It's inventive. It has your imagination going wild.

The ability to transition between present and past with this story is very well developed. The tranisitions were smooth and flowed throughout the entire book.

The extra twists to the story definitely give it an enchanting feel. Even when in the present, it almost feels like the past.

I loved the characters and their interactions with one another. They has good chemistry, which is all due to how well the book is written. ( )

Before I go into the book reviews, I have to remind you- I am a lover of book covers. Whenever I see a good looking cover, matched with an amazing blurb, I scribble the author and title onto a list that rests beneath my Mac. I later travel that list and seek them out on B&N.com for purchase. I do this regularly, except when I love the covers so much, I desire them directly from the author, with hopes of getting it sighed too! Both wishes came true with the Legends Saga!

Okay, so now that you know the book covers are Eye Candy and amazing to behold, know that these are not to be Shelf Pretties. These books pack punch and are so good- you... you, I just know you'll be blown away! Let's start with book one, Crane!
