For three days and nights, winds from a howling nor’easter whipped the seas of Cape Cod Bay into a frothy brew, pummeling the shore with thirty-foot waves and pounding seawalls up and down the coast. | |

It centers around Chris, a likable teenager, who makes a pretty big find on the beach of his town that changes his summer, at the very least.
Myers has written some great characters and scenes, something for which I was more than willing to suspend my disbelief in the interest of a good tale.
The writing is pretty crisp and the story sails along and is all knotted up in the end fairly neatly. It was a great way to spend a few hours. ( )
