This is the second edition of this book that tells the story of a brave young girl, named Malala, who was shot by the Taliban because of her refusal to stop what she was fighting for-the right to education. But in striving to blot out Malala's words, they amplified her message far beyond the Swat Valley, calling attention to the justice of her cause in every corner of every continent.Included in the pages of this second edition is additional information regarding "education for all" as well as additional support statements from other girls around the world and from many leaders like Barack Obama, Hillary Clinton, Barbara Boxer, Samantha Power, John Kerry, Susan Rice, Tara Soneshine, and Melanne Verveer. On other sections, we can read about initiative and legislative act that were passed for the benefit of girls and women regarding access to education and gender-based violence. And to complete this text, several "Inspiring Words" about the importance of education from leaders mentioned earlier were also included. Thanks and may you have a good understanding about the importance of education and be inspired by the braveness of Malala and others who are fighting for gender equality. You may want to share this book with your family and friends who may want to know about the story of a girl who was shot by gunmen because of her determination to fight for education. Take care, and as always, be well!If you like this book, please include me in your review. I'll appreciate it much, thanks again!!!… (mehr)
