Thanks to Soho Press - Soho Teen via NetGalley for the opportunity to read [b: My Sister Rosa|26465507|My Sister Rosa|Justine Larbalestier|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1442145654s/26465507.jpg|46465143] by [a: Justine Larbalestier|30033|Justine Larbalestier|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1256290401p2/30033.jpg]. I received a free Amazon Kindle e-book. The following is my honest review. [b: My Sister Rosa|26465507|My Sister Rosa|Justine Larbalestier|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1442145654s/26465507.jpg|46465143] gave me several nights of a book hangover. I woke up in the middle of the night, grab my Kindle, and read just a little more. Then this weird, suspense filled story would merge with my dreams. The state of mind I was in while reading this novel was hard to describe. When I got to the near end, I stopped reading, because I did not want this wild and twisting, scream filled ride to end. Then, I could not stop myself, and finished. OMD. There is a meme for how I felt at the end of this book. Wow. I was more enamored by the after notes given by [a: Justine Larbalestier|30033|Justine Larbalestier|https://images.gr-assets.com/authors/1256290401p2/30033.jpg]. She talked about how this was a splinter of "The Bad Seed" by William March. The Bad Seed is one of my favorite books of all time. The movie was a stunner, but the book written in 1954 was a study within a study of psychosis. I think that a strong, and mature YA reader is the preferred audience for this novel. It is well written, and is full of teenage angst. There is violence and some language and also young people of high standards and faith. Good book, thanks for the read. I will recommend this to our YA department. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
