Most advice centers on what to do, or how to do it, and ignores the when of success. But exciting new research proves there is a right time to do just about everything, based on our biology and hormones. As Dr. Michael Breus proves in THE POWER OF WHEN, working with your body's inner clock for maximum health, happiness, and productivity is easy, exciting, and fun. THE POWER OF WHEN presents a groundbreaking new program for getting back in sync with your natural rhythm by making minor changes to your daily routine. After you've taken Dr. Breus's comprehensive Bio-Time Quiz to figure out your chronotype (are you a Bear, Lion, Dolphin or Wolf?), you'll find out the best time to do over 50 different activities. Featuring a foreword by Mehmet C. Oz, MD, and packed with fascinating facts, fun personality quizzes, and easy-to-follow guidelines, THE POWER OF WHEN is the ultimate "lifehack" to help you achieve your goals.--… (mehr)

I don't know what to really say about this book. On the one hand I hand I have changed my daily schedule to as close I as practically can to the one prescribed for Dolphins in this book and it has actually had a huge impact. In the last two weeks I am the least tired and groggy than I've been in the last 10 years. So that is amazing! Genuinely amazing!

The problem I have with this book is that while the science is interesting and makes sense, I do wish he'd not chosen to give such silly names the the 4 types (Dolphin, Wolf, Bear or Lion). I keep trying to tell my friends about this but you sound so ridiculous when you say "I'm a Dolphin."

You also only honestly need to read the first couple of chapters! Everything you need to know is there... the other 90% of the book is the same thing repeated over and over again.

I'd actually recommend just researching this online rather than spending £10 on this book. It looks like it was pretty heavily promoted, so there is plenty of information out there for free! Or just borrow it from a Library! ( )

As one might expect from a book with a foreword by Dr. Oz, this is part science, part horoscope. I already had a pretty good idea of my chronotype from my wearable, and the info in this book roughly aligns with those data. I read some sections and skimmed the rest. The "best time to do x" chapters are the weakest and sometimes contradict information in other sections. Still, it does give me some things to consider about timing and energy. ( )

Et si la question n'était pas QUOI faire ou COMMENT faire , mais QUAND faire ? Et si au lieu de passer notre vie à nous torturer à coups de " comment mieux manger ", " comment mieux faire du sport ... ( )
