An entertaining bedtime story about two Viking twins who run from their mother instead of head inside to sleep. There's repetition for young readers and I know my friends who are mothers of twins would love this and could relate 100%! The illustrations are just as entertaining. I really like the mixed media, but think children will like seeing the pencil and crayon drawings that they can easily try to mimic. ( )

Hack and Whack is an adorable children's book about two Viking children wreaking havoc throughout their village while avoiding bedtime. The illustrations are fun and energetic--there is something happening on every corner of the page! The Viking village setting provided an interesting and entertaining take on a child's bedtime story.

A funny story! Two viking siblings run along the book while their mother chase them in order to give them a bath! Beautiful pictures.

Hack and Whack are two precocious Viking twins on the rampage in this adorable rhyming book. This book is absolutely charming and beautifully illustrated, as it follows the Viking twins Hack and Whack as they pillage their town, wreaking havoc wherever they go, all while trying to avoid bedtime. I read it to my sister, with similar curly red hair, and we both loved it. The illustrations are fun and the story is better! A great read! ( )

Little kid Vikings are an adorable concept for a book and I really enjoyed this one. Hack and Whack don't want to go to bed so they are running around the town causing chaos everywhere in their path.

I thought that the story was fun. The action is right from the start and will keep listeners to the story entertained and engaged. Most of the text has a but of rhyming and it was overall an adorably short read just right for a bedtime troublemaker. ( )
