I laughed so hard while reading this I woke other up in my house. I can just picture this happening on the big screen. A man dropping his trousers for a mire slip of a girl who he thought was a young guy. People only see what we allow. Dressed as a boy Jenna fooled lots of people. During that time very few women wore trousers. It was scandalous.

While reading I wondered who was taming who. Was Jenna taming Branch or was Branch taming Jenna? In the end I think the each tamed the other.

For some laughs with romance entwined this was a wonderful read.

The bunnies and I give this book carrots.

What happens when two headstrong people meet? Sparks fly. Well sparks definitely fly in Taming Jenna by Charlene Raddon. Not only do sparks fly but there is a smoldering fire then an intense raging fire between Jenna and Branch. I love stories of "headstrong"/"obstinate" women, partly because that is how everyone described me as I was growing up.

Jenna is not just a strong, intelligent young woman challenging how women are viewed but she also has this vulnerability that she tries to deny. Part of growing up is realizing how your childhood has influenced who we are but knowing that it does not have to define us. It is nice seeing this transformation in Jenna.

There are some very steamy, enticing love scenes. Charlene Raddon, the author, does a great job of creating a sensual experience while not being vulgar. She does not cross the line. If you read this book, your husband or significant other might be thankful. Well, that is if he has any of Branch's qualities. Wink! Wink! In addition, there is some violence in this book. It is described but it is not graphic.

This book will grab your attention in the first few pages, and it never lets go. It is an adventure full, sensual experience that you will love, a wonderful historical romance novel. I give this one 4 1/2 stars out of 5.

This book kept me reading on my computer no less until 11:30 at night! I just had to know the ending. This is the story of a head strong woman who learns at a young age not to trust men-or so she thinks! Bound and determined to find the father who disappeared from her Mom's and her life 15 years prior she finagles a job from the Pinkerton Agency. She thinks her Dad might be in Utah and this is where she will be bounty hunting, to earn the money she needs to stay in Utah until she finds her father.

I found myself shaking my head at some of the antics and worried at some of the others. She keeps bumping into a man who is hunting the same person. She outsmarts him at "almost" every turn. He finally takes her home to where he owns a hotel run by his sister and her family. Then she finds out that the man she has been hunting and did catch is not the guilty party!

Will they catch the real bad guys? Will they ever see eye to eye? Will Jenna ever find her Father? Will there be happy endings for all? I think I'll let you find that out for yourself! Enjoy this historical romance--I know I did. ( )

Not a shrinking violet by any means, Jenna is a tough gal trying to prove it in a man's world in the Wild West. She is tracking a dangerous outlaw, Modena, and instead stumbles upon yet another hired gun and perhaps even more dangerous Branch McCauley.

The writing is fast paced and fun. Set in the romantic and rugged Wild West, the character of McCauley is everything a romance reader could ask for. He is a take charge, swoon-worthy man who isn't afraid of Jenna's spunk or determination.

Charlene Raddon creates yet another fun story filled with likable characters and quick, witty dialogue. If you are looking for a great romance to read this Winter, Taming Jenna will heat things up nicely. ( )

BOOK REVIEW

As I have read lots of romantic books, this one will also be remarkable to me. I choose to read unique and realistic romantic stories when reading the genre. I just don't read randomly, I am picky indeed. So this one is a nice pick for those who are looking for romantic stories with mind bugging situations and I was just like watching a real classic romantic movie. I fell in love once again , thanks Charlene Raddon! Getting wild to be tamed by the man you are looking for! Well I am thinking of techniques from this book to find my man too. lol. Well get envied , miss falling in love. It is a very adventurous and exciting story that will prove how love can do impossible things. With love, even taming the wildest would be possible! ( )
