So happy for Morgan to get her happy ever after and with such a perfect match. The Reality is this book is EVERYTHING. ( ) I really liked this one. Hero is a single dad. 5 year old daughter. An estranged ex. Heroine is overcoming grief from her previous 'relationship'. I say this with '' because she'd been in love with her dead ex for years and he's never chosen her until he did shortly before his death so they had a future planned but hadn't actually shared more than promises and a kiss. I hadn't read the previous books in the series so I'm not sure if the ins and outs of the heroine's love interest has been previously revealed so this can be read as a standalone but her relationship and effects on other couples from previous books in series is discussed so possible spoilers if not read in order. Pushing away from heroine. Hero only sleeps with tourists so he resists getting involved at first. Heroine has a huge issue with panic attacks. I'm not a huge fan of pining after a dead ex and her former relationship is at the forefront right through the story through memory and dealing with the grief. She falls in love with the Hero while still feeling she is in love with her ex. There is other woman drama. A few instances where the heroine thinks there is more going on than there is between the Hero and his ex, she's a piece of work. But the Hero never encourages his ex. No intimate scenes other than the Hero and heroine, other than a kiss with her dead ex. Slow burn to actual sex. No cheating. An exciting end as the Hero has things reversed on him a bit to know how hard it is to see your partner in a life or death situation. I thought that was a clever way to get them both to think of things differently as the book got to the point where the heroine couldn't see a future for them. The Hero never gave up. HEA. Epilogue, involving all previous couples. Zeige 2 von 2 keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
