The actions of the characters in the story weren't quiet as violent as the cover description makes it sound...and it really was all consensual, but it was above what most folks are familiar with or perhaps even comfortable with. It's the third book in the Game Series, but like the first two books can easily be read as a standalone. Recurring characters drift in and out throughout the story but these two twins, River and Reece Tenley are, without question...the stars of the show. Shay's reasoning behind his need for punishment was a bit "off the wall"...he really should have talked to someone before entering fights and competitions to get himself beat half to death. We learned a lot about the twins but most of it came from Reece's POV and of course that made it very one-sided. Shay, River and Reese as a threesome were absolutely stunning together, and the taboo nature of the twin's relationship is interesting to say the least. I really got to liking these two...a lot. Already looking for the next book that tells us more about the twins when they were younger. ( )

It’s a knockout!

You know it’s a good book when you inadvertently find yourself responding to commands issued by the characters in the story. Slightly less steamy than Their Boy. Closer to the hurt/comfort end. Not a tear jerker. Definitely left me wanting more (in a good way). ( )
