How far would you go to save your sister? This is the question that Zuretta has to ask herself as she suddenly stops receiving letters from her sister. Zuretta knows her sister and knows something has happened to her in Chicago. She travels there and starts to look for her sister, a dead end everywhere she turns. Until she is led to The Castle, a hotel that Henry Holmes has built just in time for the World’s Fair. She gets a job there and immediately realizes that something isn’t quite right with the hotel. Based on the true story of H. H. Holmes and the hotel he built, this story was intriguing and disturbing at the same time. I had to put it down before bed because it got too much at one point. I have always been fascinated with H. H. Holmes so I thoroughly enjoyed this book. ( )
