Politics. Nonfiction. HTML:#1 NEW YORK TIMES BESTSELLER

The seven-time #1 New York Times bestselling author, Fox News star, and radio host Mark R. Levin explains how the dangers he warned against in the "timely yet timeless" (David Limbaugh, author of Jesus Is Risen) bestseller Liberty and Tyranny have come to pass.
In 2009, Mark R. Levin galvanized conservatives with his unforgettable manifesto Liberty and Tyranny, by providing a philosophical, historical, and practical framework for halting the liberal assault on Constitution-based values. That book was about standing at the precipice of progressivism's threat to our freedom and now, over a decade later, we're fully over that precipice and paying the price.

In American Marxism, Levin explains how the core elements of Marxist ideology are now pervasive in American society and culture??from our schools, the press, and corporations, to Hollywood, the Democratic Party, and the Biden presidency??and how it is often cloaked in deceptive labels like "progressivism," "democratic socialism," "social activism," and more. With his characteristic trenchant analysis, Levin digs into the psychology and tactics of these movements, the widespread brainwashing of students, the anti-American purposes of Critical Race Theory and the Green New Deal, and the escalation of repression and censorship to silence opposing voices and enforce conformity. Levin exposes many of the institutions, intellectuals, scholars, and activists who are leading this revolution, and provides us with some answers and ideas on how to confront them.

As Levin writes: "The counter-revolution to the American Revolution is in full force. And it can no longer be dismissed or ignored for it is devouring our society and culture, swirling around our everyday lives, and ubiquitous in our politics, schools, media, and entertainment." And, like before, Levin seeks to rally the American people to defend their li

More of a reference read than anything else. Loaded with facts figures and opinions, American Marxism reads like a legal brief and I had to push myself through it. Three stars for the information contained within, but it's readability seriously lacked. ( )

A tough read in that it describes the caustic effects of the "progressive" attack on our institutions, traditions and history and what the individual can do about it. My only criticism is that it reads like a legal brief with enough footnoting to fill another book. Definitely an important reference book to wield in the fight to save/restore our constitutional republic.

A bit of a side-note: If your a Mark Levin radio listener or watch his Fox TV show, you can skim through a great deal of the book because you've already been briefed on the subject. ( )

Mark R. Levin’s, “American Marxism” is a political, social science book which describes the dangers of the growth of marxist ideology and what effects it will cause for America. Mark Levin does a great job explaining the flaws in marxism objectively and with a strong political background, I think he is perfectly fit to speak on the topic. Mark establishes great points on the flawed arguments and actions done by the marxist movement and speaks to the American people to warn them of what is to come if marxist ideology is not controlled. With marxist ideology making its way into powerful government positions as well as infiltrating universities and businesses, Levin states people are being socially pressured to conform to marxist beliefs and are silenced if they oppose. Although Mark Levin may have political ties due to past relations, I believe his opinions in the book are objective and factual. I believe that anyone interested in American politics and the controversies surrounding economical systems should give this book a read.

Mark Levin discusses in his latest well-researched book how Marxism is ingrained in American society and culture from our schools, the media, in corporations, in sports, in Hollywood, and in politics. He explains how it is labeled as progressivism, social activism, and community activism.
