Another entry in the Ranger's Apprentice series. This is the first one that I've read in the Royal Ranger subset.

The first 2/3 of the book is wonderful, suspenseful and marches along nicely. But then the last section feels tacked on and only tangential to the story.

So I recommend reading the first part and skimming the rest. ( )

Another fun book by Flanagan. I am hoping that there will be more in this series as well in the future. The overall story was a lot of fun and I enjoyed it! However the ending was a little lacking. It felt so abrupt. Am I the only one? That’s why I took a star off. Overall, this was a great ending to the cliffhanger from the last book. ( )
