If you want to understand the Emergent Church, this is a good book to start with, because Paigett focuses on how he does Church, which is at the heart fo the movement. Half the time I read it, I said to myself, "Well, of course!" and half the time I said, "huh?"

All in all he paints, a glowing picture of alternative way of doing church. The best part is that he includes sections from his parishioners, kind of a practice what I preach sort of move, and it works really well in this book.

If you think Church can be done better, you might want to start with this book. ( )
