Through the Veneer of Time has some promise, but I think it could do with a bit of editing. The novel follows a couple and tormenter in their current lives and their past lives in Ireland. The jumping back and forth is difficult to follow at times and the pacing is a bit unsteady. Overall I enjoyed the romance and mix of mystery, but felt like the story could be a bit tighter.Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben. Definitely an awesome read. It was a little difficult at times to keep up with the back and forth with time. Overall a good book would definitely recommend to others!!! Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben. I *really* wanted to like this book. However, this was definitely not the book for me. The mix of Outlander past lives coupled with a modern day serial killler is simulatenously too much of a breathty bodice-ripper & too dark for my taste.Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben. I found the plot predicable. The author attempted to “spice” it up with romance, sex and violence but the narrative was not engaging and off putting. The attempt to “kick it up a notch” was unsuccessful and really made me dislike the book. Diese Rezension wurde für LibraryThing Early Reviewers geschrieben. Slow to start. Once I got involved with the characters, I began to love it. The 3 main characters are in a vicious triangle of love versus hate. I am looking forward to the continuing saga. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
