*** SPOILERS BELOW *** Emily is a very realistic story and girl, she has real consequences in her life and that's always nice in a book. I enjoyed the story and world as a nice break from other things. While this is a charming book, I also find it a tad infuriating. Why do story people always insist on not taking amazing opportunities? Why would you not go to New York for a few years, become successful then when you are known and desired, move back to PEI? WHY??? Also, I enjoyed the dig at Elsie Dinsmore L.M. Montgomery is a long time and all time favorite author of mine. She writes the perfect girls story with just the right mix of adventure, drama and happiness. I find her books a comfort to read and have re-read most of works many times over the years. They are classics for a reason and that reason is they are great. keine Rezensionen | Rezension hinzufügen
