"The Royal Commission on Aboriginal Peoples had four main objectives for its fourth and final round of hearings, which took place between November 1 and December 3, 1993: to hear the views of the national Aboriginal organizations; to hear as many as possible of the organizations that had prepared submissions with research assistance from the Commission's Intervenor Participation Program (IPP); to solicit a wide range of opinion on Aboriginal issues from the non-Aboriginal community; and to encourage more input from Que?bec.
