Boswana's Okavango Delta is beautiful, remote, and wild. The animal here live together each day, as they have always done. The serval cat is one of Africa's smallest wild cats. It's about twice as big as an average houe cat. It lives in a world that is a hundred times more dangerous than a house cat's. Preditors, such as lions, could be hunting for a several cat to eat for dinner. This is a rule for evenry predator in Okavango Delta; "Eat, or be eaten."

"Off in the distance, they hear a lion's roar. This reminds both animals that the larger preditors control the night."(p.8)

The lion is a strong dangerous predator and small animals have to be careful not to be eaten.
