Peretti is a master with vivid language. These books contain some of the best imagery of spiritual warfare I have ever read. I recommend these books to everyone! ( )

For those of us who have been brought up in a conservative southern baptist heritage, this is the book to open the mind to the spiritual world. Naturally, Peretti takes some liberties (it is a novel) but this book changed my world. After reading it, I returned to the Bible and could see it more clearly. My favorite part of the story is where the young lady is out in a field, knowing people are chasing her to kill her, and "The Prince" comes to her and she is born again. When the angels came to attention like a bolt of lightning, I saw the salvation of a human being in a wonderful light. Definitely five stars from my perspective.

A sobering look at spiritual warfare. Personifies good and evil and the battles that surround us everyday and the importance of prayer and strong faith. Very vivid descriptions of what may be going on in the spiritual realm. ( )
