This book is about a young bunny named Nicky who has a sense for adventure and a wild imagination. One day, it rains and the bunny family is stuck inside. Nicky tries to convince his mother as well as the other bunnies that they need to move somewhere where it doesn't rain and they can play all day. He suggests places like the jungle, the desert, the mountains etc. Eventually it stops raining and Mother Bunny brings all the little bunnies out for a walk. There they see a rainbow and decide to go on an adventure to find the end of the rainbow. They are all content with where they live when they see they beauty that surrounds them after the rain.
