A LITTLE HELP FROM MY FRIENDS is the third installment of the MIRACLE GIRLS series. Here are three things that the book's narrator, Zoe, will face:

Wow. This novel is a perfect read for those young girls who are growing up into beautiful young women and facing the daily struggles and growing pains.

I haven't had the fortune of reading Miracle Girls or Miracle Girls #2, but if they are like this book then they are worth reading!

Miracle Girls #3 tells the story of a young girl reaching her period of growing pains. She has a serious boyfriend, who lives right next door. Once a truly shy girl, she is becoming more popular at school. And then there's the new, handsome teenage boy at school who shows some interest in her. Will this new interest cause a rift between the girl and her serious boyfriend? And will troubles at home arrise and upset her world even more? She has friends,dubbed the Miracle Girls, she can turn to-or can she, because they seem to be having troubles of their own?

Find out in this exciting new book from two very talented authors! May and Anne know how to bring characters together in a story that really tells of how teenage girls are really struggle in today's society. This book really shows a lesson learned: The life can be turned upside down in a heartbeat but with the faith and love and help of God and some really great friends, growing pain troubles don't seem so bad!!

I highly reccomend this book to all those young readers out there, especially if they are having growing pain troubles and need to be lifted up!

This book was a fun read. I have not read the first two books in the series but that didn’t seem to matter much. At first I didn’t know who the “miracle girls” were but this is explained later in the book so you could probably jump in at this book if you really wanted to. I loved Zoe and her friends. Each girl is unique and has to deal with their own issues yet they are always there for each other. I think this is a story that many young girls can relate to as some of the characters break up with their first loves or suffer their first heart break. I also really enjoyed Dean’s character although I wish we could have seen a bit more of him and his life instead of him just being the love interest of Zoe. I felt like there is a lot there to like about him. The one minor detail I disliked was how easily the issue with the lawsuit against one of the teachers was resolved. Throughout the book it seemed to be a major issue that seemed unresolvable and then at the end all of a sudden all was fine. It seemed to abrupt. Other than that this is a quick, fun read for the teen age girl. ( )

Zoe is the youngest of the Miracle Girls. Her parents are from the ‘Jesus Movement’ of the ’60’s and ’70’s as indicated by their names: Dreamy (the mom) and Ed (the dad), who insist that Zoe call them by their first names.

Zoe sets off on a mission to save her parents marriage and reinstate one of her favorite teachers dismissed for unknown reasons.

With all this on her mind, she encounters a new boy in school, a New Yorker named Dean. Having been assigned his partner on a school project, she finds her relationship with her boyfriend Marcus ‘challenging’. New Yorkers are not known for their shyness.

All three of these major events force Zoe deeper into her faith as she will now have to overcome her shyness if she is to accomplish her goals. Together with her Miracle Girls friends, Zoe learns that she can make it, with a little help from her friends.

This was quite an adorable story. Reading it made me think of my high school days and the teenage angst I felt. I loved the wide mix of characters such as Gus, Mrs. Lovechuck, and of course the horses named Dox and Mama Cass.

A very enjoyable read. I’d highly recommend it for any teenage girl. ( )
