I enjoyed returning to Morse Point, MA and another fun cozy mystery with Brenna Miller and her friends. This time, a newcomer, Tara Montgomery, is engaged to the local mechanic when his best friend turns up murdered right in Tara's presence. The kicker is that Tara has no memory of what happened or how they got there. Brenna befriends Tara and sets out to find any other suspects before Tara is railroaded into jail. I enjoyed the secondary characters very much, from best friend Tenley, landlord Nate, and trying to go legit mobster Dom. Lawrence populates this small town with some great folks. ( )
