An odd manga that deftly blends comedy, romance, cop drama, urban fantasy and action. The charming 17yo female protagonist gains even more depth when you learn of her strange backstory. Her 20-something love interest is your typical Shonen hero. The fact that they keep pushing for a relationship despite their considerable age gap if off-putting. This is redeemed considerably when his ex-fiance comes back into the picture, and as a cop no less. Did I mention that there are both monsterous and cutesy Yokai everywhere?… (mehr)
An intriguing premise and some interesting dynamics. The first volume is interesting. I'm a bit put off reading the rest of the series because from what I've read, it seems to focus on aspects I'm less interested in.
