Lethal Danger, by Jerusha Agen is the fourth book in the Guardians Unleashed series. This series is about a K-9 team made up of women and their dogs that provide security in the Twin Cities, Minnesota area. This story focuses on Jazz, her family, her past and her feelings of not fitting in.

This is a great story to get lost in. The well developed character are strong, caring people who are there for each other. It’s a fast paced story that is filled with action, suspense, mystery and growing relationship. I really like that the story is so well written, I was able to imagine what was happening and where. I enjoyed reading of the other characters in the K-9 team and how their lives have changed during this series. I appreciate the faith they have and how comfortable they are with sharing with others. I especially enjoy the closeness Jazz has with Navaeh and how supportive Navaeh is towards Jazz. This story kept me reading and guess to the very end as to who was doing damage to the fair and after Jazz and why.

Evil and lies are often most convincing when they masquerade as poor imitations of the truth.

Enter the world of Phoenix K-9 Security and the Tri-City Fair. The author takes us behind the scenes at the fair with such great detail I wonder if I can ever visit a fair again without wondering what goes on behind those barriers. Add to that the well developed characters and you will not set this aside before finishing.

For Jazz, with her K-9 Flash, this is a pinch me sort of dream. Working security at the fair alongside her favorite author is not something Jazz could have possibly imagined. Hawthorne Emerson is a mystery writer doing research into the world of the fair. Meeting his next heroine was not part of his plan, especially when there seems to be ongoing threats to her life.

Are these all accidents or are there questionable entities behind these incidents? For Jazz, it seems that since no one cares about her, none of this matters as long as no one else gets hurt. Will she finally understand that she has always belonged to God and that He loves and cares for her?

Jerusha Agen has another winner in this book! Excellent characters and a story twisting plot. Plus the K-9s….

Jazz and her K-9 Flash are part of the Phoenix K-9 Security group and they are hired to patrol the Tri-City Fair. There has been sabotage on the grounds and Jazz has an interest since her Aunt owns the Fair and she grew up there.
Hawthorn is an author of mystery thrillers who has taken a security job to solve the case of a death of his sister’s boyfriend a few years ago. The two meet and start pursuing leads together. Wow! Another fantastic book by Jerusha Agen! This is suspense writing at its finest! Each page keeps you wondering what is going to happen.

The characters are wonderful! Naveah is courageous, brave, and determined. She has fears- "But she knew how to fight the fear now. She knew how to beat it- through unshakable trust in God's power."

The love story is unique and romantic. " From the moment we met, I couldn't shake the feeling we'd been made for each other." This is a definite must read!
