Juli Alexander

When I read the premise for "The Karma Beat," I wasn't sure how I'd like it - I felt like a story about modern day genies might be a hard sell. But I gave it a shot, and found it to be entertaining and to tackle the concept rather well. The characters do seem to act realistic overall, especially the teens and other younger characters. I found the interactions believable and the characters likeable, and I rather liked the way the story ended (even though it screams for a sequel!) Will definitely keep Juli Alexander around on my "to read" list.… (mehr)
