There are some interesting concepts in this book, and some good counsel on ways to strengthen family relationships, but somehow I didn't feel like there was continuity in how the book was written or the goals for the book. There was definitely consistency in the message that families are successful when founded on gospel truths, though. The writing is somewhat academic and the book would have been better for more real life examples. Overall, though, the messages are definitely encouraging.
