Characters have no depth or development to them.

Nothing special to the story to set it apart from the 1000s of others like it.

Nothing in the book made me what to continue reading it, I had to force myself to finish.
Just another boring book with a flashy cover but nothing in between worth while.

This one was another free ebook I gave a go as undemanding summer reading. It had its moments, but I found the first couple of chapters, heavy on introducing the main characters, clumsy and quite hard to follow. Once the introductions were out of the way, the story seemed a bit stronger, but still not very good—things were happening almost out of nowhere.
