Fairly readable introductory history to the Arab world. Not alot of depth. Skips around a little. Covers from Mohammads time through the Arab, and Turkish, and Iranian eras. Not really a page turner, and i'm not a big expert in this field, so i don't have a lot to compare it to. It is a fairly standard text in the field though.
