I didn't watch the full thing, but this is almost certainly going on my "offload" pile.

This is basically the original comic with music, sound effects, and a bit of voice acting. The DVD menu was a little clunky, and, even worse, the voice acting was really uneven. I particularly disliked the voice actor for Sephie - granted, she was probably doing her best considering the text she was working with (Kesel needed to learn to step back and trust the artwork more), but it was painful to listen to. Of the little that I listened to, Jon was probably my favorite, followed by Ilahn.

I wasn't wild about the original comic, and this took somewhat iffy pacing and made it worse by forcing more pauses. It did have the interesting effect of highlighting scenes that I'd previously forgotten about because they passed by so quickly when I was reading the comic, but overall I wasn't impressed.… (mehr)
