World Trigger, Vol. 10 von Daisuke Ashihara
Every time I read a new volume in this series, I wonder if it is time to just stop. Here's another muddle of a book that ends with just enough momentum in the final chapter to make me want to see how the cliffhanger resolves.
It's funny how my interest in this series decreases as the amount of action and adventure increases. I'm all for some good fight scenes, but the latest alien invasion promises to spread itself out over several volumes and the action is non-stop sound and fury signifying nothing. Ho-hum.
I'm almost ready to give up on this series. After the first chapter of this volume, the central characters don't even appear. Page after page of multiple new villains fighting multiple squads of new good guys. Ugh. The creator is trying for epic and achieving only epic fail.
I started with the anime first, and since it only started airing this fall, it's only at episode 7. (Edit: Correction to my last, the show is now at episode 15)

I do not regret it.
I'm so happy I did that! Now I can compare and see how the anime is going. So far, not so bad,.
Back to the manga.
Oh my, I love it.
Action, mystery, and so much charter development, I've never so much charter devolvement before with the 80 cheaters that are released. It's progress fast, on track, and to point.
I like how the main isn't the perfect hero, he's normal, weak and I like it. It's about time we have someone like that. Makes it more relatable.
I will follow this manga to the end! Pick this up, you will not be-able to put it down.
