Not very scary or engaging. Ending a little too Freudian. Not as good as I expected or wanted it to be. Nothing Conan-like, and prose definitely not Lovecraft-like.

Pulp horror kings H.P. Lovecraft and Robert E. (Conan the Barbarian) Howard join forces to undertake a quest, following the road West from Howard's Texas home. The goal is to prevent the ancient creatures that inspired Lovcecraft's fiction from entering our world. Very spooky, fun read, great characters to work with: two idiosyncratic characters, especially Lovecraft. Recommended.
