Amusing YA book about a 13 year old girl who is forced to go on a family "vacation" to 1890s farm camp so they can bond. She smuggles in a cell phone so she can text her friends and wacky hijinx ensue.

Of course there is also a dreamy boy at camp and a mean girl who our heroine competes with for his affection.

I don't even know what to say... this wasn't good? It wasn't really bad either, though. Weird how the whole time travel (or not) thing was what made the most sense in the whole book.

I am not usually a big YA fan, but I genuinely enjoyed this novel about a boy with memories of the future. Anyone who enjoys books about time travel would likely enjoy this book.

This is such a great book! It didn't do what I was afraid it would - act like going back to 1890 makes everybody's life better. In fact, even Gen's Mom (who made the family go) gets beaten down with how hard it is. Halfway through, the blog aspect really takes off. A really sweet, funny book.
