As a guide to food, brand-name food at that, this is a fairly useful book. The problem is, it's too big to be convenient to carry, and who can remember it all unless it is handy? The other problem is that it is subject to change. Manufacturers have responded to consumer concerns and a lot of change has occurred since this book came out. It is on those cavils that I rate this book low.
