Novela ambientada en las costumbres de la época de las Cruzadas, en la que en 1180, un caballero llamado Simón de Creçy, ingresa en la Orden del Temple para entrenarse en las armas para marchar a Tierra Santa, aprendiendo las artes de la guerra y en el conocimiento de los códigos de los caballeros templarios, llegando a intervenir durante la tercera cruzada en las negociaciones de Saladino y Ricardo Corazón de León. Sin olvidar su estilo novelado introduce al lector a un mundo de acción y aventura muy emotivo. Aunque no se desvalora por su contenido novelesco, la obra nos remite a una parte en la que su autor recurre a dar repaso a los hechos históricos más comunmente conocidos de las Cruzadas.… (mehr)
