Il primo libro a stampa in caratteri mobili in Inghilterra.
Pleasant, quickly-read skate through some of the common means by which books can come to an ignoble end. This fourth edition references content that seems to be only in earlier ones, but that's a minor quibble. The back-and-forth between the author and comments from readers on earlier editions give the text a blog feel.
Description: 1992, (7), xvii, 144 pages, 24 plates of line drawings, quarto, grey cloth, paper spine label. Fine Reprint of the 1883 original which was reprinted from the "Printers' Register."
Out of print in 1990. Printed in two colors by Joh. Enschede en Zonen.
