My new favorite tortured singer-songwriter, having begun with Joni Mitchell. Eitzel's immediate predecessor was Stephin Merritt, if that says anything. I like the scholarly approach Body gives to Eitzel's life. I would rather sit down and watch the planes fly into Oakland with him, however. And I wish his Kathleen could come back.
