There were so many laugh out loud moments in this book, I'm sure I annoyed my husband while I devoured this book in bed. I had to read some passages to him as well because they were just so rich and true. I loved this book and I would recommend it to anyone. It gives an incredible amount of insight into the emotions of starting a family. Also, the hurtful comments that stuck with her from loved ones just lets you know that what you say matters. This is a very quick read and it resonated with me on a couple levels and I found it fascinating and heart-wrenching to read about her fertility treatments and adoption process. The anxiety she felt must have been completely overwhelming, I would have just lost my marbles. I truly can't imagine what it felt like for her. I was amazed at her sharp focus and passion that went into her family and into this book. Highly recommend. I told my husband to read it and I was thinking of having my mother in-law read it as well.… (mehr)
