Albert Borowitz is a graduate of Harvard University with a B.A. in classics, an M.A. in Chinese Regional Studies, and a J.D. An invaluable foot into my Herostratus research. Lots of good insights into the syndrome and modern examples of the Act. A much larger nut to crack than anticipated.

This is a series of essays regarding criminal literature and actual criminal cases, written by a lawyer. They cover a wide variety of interesting and thoughtful studies, including “Mr. Jekyll and Mr. Stevenson”, “Salieri and the ‘Murder’ of Mozart”, “Psychological Kidnapping in Italy: The Case of Aldo Braibanti”, and “M. Tullius Cicero for the Defense”. Another case deals with the case of a “nonfiction novel” that considerably predates In Cold Blood. The final essay is a funny comment on the author’s attempt to do some research in London. “If you wish to do research in London, you should have one of two assets going for you.
