I like the workouts in this book, particularly that the beginner's workouts are actually for beginners. So many swim books assume that swimmers are born fully formed from Zeus's forehead capable of swimming 100-200 yards. (FALSE)

I do wish more of the workouts had more drills, or were less freestyle-centered, but I guess that's what master's swim sessions are for. 🤣
