This is a pleasant read about culture and history along the Nile River. The format is a trip down the Nile from several of its headwaters. Pictures occupy about 60% of the book but they are good ones and enhance the text.
A good look at Egypt in 1966. Many color photographs and some maps with a separate map in the back cover.
