Nonabah G. Bryan

This slim volume is an unabridged republication of an earlier work published in 1940 by the Educational Division of the U.S. Office of Indian Affairs. It discusses 33 dye plants historically used by the Navajo. For each one the common and scientific names are given, a description of how and where it grows, part used for dyeing, a drawing of the plant, and recipes.
