Jose Canseco

hilarious!

It may have taken Jose a week to write this book, but maybe that was the charm that kept me reading it. You certainly get to know Canseco, roids and all, and you quickly learn to doubt much of what he writes. That said, it’s clear that those he named did in fact engage in the steroid use he writes of. This quickly written book managed to change our view of sports forever.

For baseball fans, this is an important book, but not a very good one. With what we have seen over the last several years, it is hard not to believe what he has to say about others using steroids. It is a sad story . . .

This is a weak follow-up to his more readable first one.....the font is huge and the text is repetitive -- so it means that you can read the first 10 pages in a couple minutes and put the book back on the shelf.
